The Tapgol Park vicinity, situated adjacent to Insa-dong, stands as a pivotal nexus for tourism, culture, and transportation. Despite its significance, the approximately 40,000 m² expanse, encompassing Ikseon-dong Hanok Street, remains markedly underdeveloped. The objective is to undertake comprehensive redevelopment or partial enhancement while preserving the intrinsic charm of this area, intending to transform it into a vibrant ‘hot spot,’ shedding its current underdeveloped status.
In our pursuit of revitalizing the Tapgol Park surroundings, including the somewhat outdated Ikseon-dong Hanok Street, we have engaged in a multifaceted exploration of programs and designs. Our aim is to infuse new life into a space that, despite its proximity to Insa-dong, exuded a somewhat outdated ambiance. Through innovative initiatives, we seek to foster synergy with the surrounding environs, envisioning this locale as a focal point for cultural, social, and urban dynamics, thereby breathing new vitality into its essence.
